Tips for Your Immune Health

In addition to the general hygiene guidelines that have been widely distributed, I would like to emphasize the importance role you can have in maximizing your immune health.

  1. Maintain excellent sleep hygiene. Set a bed time and stick to it. Avoid checking your phone, especially the news at least a half hour before your bedtime.

  2. Eat three meals a day. Well balanced meals and mindful snacking is best for your immune system and general health.

  3. Manage the anxiety. Stress overwhelms the immune system. Though we are in an undoubtedly stressful times, try to identify activities that keep you calm, maintain a routine to your day, get fresh air when possible, and fill your day with as many fun and enjoyable hobbies and activities.
